The Urban Craft Uprising is rumored to be the most marvelous gathering of regional indie and DIY crafters. A smorgasboard of hand made goodies like jewelry, hand bags, wallets, aprons, and lots of art and other crafts, as well as homemade food. I’ve never been, but am planning on attending it this summer. It’s on July 9th and 10th from 11am-5pm at the Seattle Center. Their site has a complete list of vendors, of which they have around 130 of this year. I purused them to find a few to look out for, and loved the following:
Pepper Jack Home:
Pepper Jack Home features a selection of eco-friendly handmade laundry products and a few totes and home accessories. Love the cozy, natural aesthetic she strives for.
Rachel Austin's map paintings are enchanting, colorful and fun.
I heart WoolyBison's incredible bags, wallets and accessories. I have my own little snap coin purse, which also happens to fit all of the essential cards, cash and ID for a purse free night out. A stylish way to stash your business cards too.
